Instant wins vs verified draws
The two giveaway mechanics and how winners are picked in each.
Instant win. A fixed number of reward slots. The moment your entry is confirmed, the server checks whether a slot is left — first come, first served. When slots run out the giveaway completes.
Verified draw. Everyone eligible goes into the pot until the end date. When the giveaway closes, we run a seeded draw and record the seed, the number of entries and the winners in an audit record that can be re-checked later. Nobody — not the business, not us — can pick a favourite.
If a winner never claims, the prize is re-offered to a backup winner automatically.
