Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Zewards (zewards.app), a rewards marketplace that connects consumers in the UAE with real, licensed businesses. By creating an account or using Zewards, you agree to these terms. Individual giveaways may have additional rules published on the giveaway page.

Zewards is operated by Zewards Portal, Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) Professional Licence No. 1658007, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Commercial Register No. 2937416. In these terms, "Zewards", "we", "us" and "our" mean that entity.

• •You must be at least 13 years old and a UAE resident to hold a Zewards account.
• •Each giveaway sets its own minimum age, shown on the giveaway page. You may only enter giveaways you meet the stated age requirement for.
• •You may hold only one participant account, and account sharing is not allowed.
• •You must provide accurate information, including your real date of birth, which is used for eligibility checks.

Businesses publish giveaways on Zewards with rewards such as products, vouchers, digital items or cash. You participate for free — no purchase is necessary. Completing a giveaway's tasks earns you entry into that giveaway. Zewards is a platform: rewards are offered and fulfilled by the businesses behind each giveaway, not by Zewards.

Giveaways on social media are everywhere — and too often they are opaque, unverifiable or quietly rigged. Zewards was built to change that. We give businesses a transparent home for their promotions and give participants a fair, recorded and reproducible process: entries are tracked, draws are documented, and results can be checked. Our purpose is fairness of process — not ownership of the promotion.

Zewards is a technology platform and intermediary only. Every giveaway published on Zewards is offered, organised, funded and fulfilled by the business named on it. That business — not Zewards — is the promoter of the giveaway and is solely responsible for it, its terms, its lawfulness, the prize it offers, and the delivery of that prize to the winner. Zewards does not own, fund, purchase, hold, insure or supply any prize, and is not a party to any arrangement between a business and a participant.

Zewards does not guarantee that any business will deliver its prize. If a business fails to supply, delays, substitutes or misdescribes a prize, for any reason and under any circumstances, the business alone is responsible and any claim lies against that business. Zewards may, at its discretion, help by mediating, sharing the business's registered details with the winner or the authorities, and suspending the business — but this help is voluntary and does not make Zewards liable for the prize.

Zewards carries out checks on businesses and, where provided, on promotion permits. A 'Verified' badge means a check was completed against the information available to us at that time. It is not a guarantee, endorsement, certification or warranty of the business, its licences, its permits, its conduct or its prize, and it does not transfer any of the business's responsibilities to Zewards. Businesses may provide false or forged documents, and licences or permits may lapse after review. Participate with ordinary care, and report anything suspicious.

Each business publishing a giveaway on Zewards warrants that it holds a valid UAE trade licence in good standing, and that it holds every approval, licence and permit required for its giveaway — including any promotion permission required from the Department of Economy and Tourism, or from any other competent authority, where applicable. The business is responsible for determining what its giveaway requires and for obtaining it before publishing.

Each business publishing a giveaway agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Zewards Portal, its officers and its employees against any claim, demand, fine, penalty, loss or cost (including reasonable legal fees) arising from that business's giveaway, from any prize it offers or fails to deliver, or from its failure to hold any licence, approval or permit required for that giveaway.

Participation on Zewards is always free. There is no entry fee, ticket price, wager or purchase requirement of any kind, and no payment is ever required to participate in a giveaway or to receive a prize. Zewards does not sell entries, extra chances, improved odds, or any credit, token or currency that can be converted into entries. Zewards Points are free, cannot be bought, and never add entries or change the odds of any giveaway. Business subscription fees paid to Zewards buy access to platform tools only, and never affect who wins.

Zewards Points are a loyalty reward for activity on Zewards, such as completing your profile, finishing giveaways, winning, and referring friends who qualify. Points have no cash value, cannot be bought, sold or transferred, and never add entries to or change the odds of any giveaway.

Points expire 12 months after they are earned. Daily and monthly limits apply to some actions. Points earned for an entry or win that is later voided or expires are removed. Zewards may freeze, adjust or remove points obtained through fake accounts, self-referrals or other abuse, and may change earning values or end the programme with notice in the app.

Instant-win giveaways award rewards to the first eligible participants to complete the required tasks while reward slots remain. Draw giveaways select winners at random from eligible entries after the giveaway ends, using a documented, reproducible draw process. Winner selection is final.

If you win, you must claim your reward within 60 days of winning. Unclaimed rewards may expire and be offered to backup winners. Some rewards are delivered instantly with a code; others are fulfilled manually by the business.

When you claim a reward, you are responsible for providing accurate delivery or redemption details. Voucher and digital codes must be treated as cash — keep them private and redeem them by any expiry stated by the business. Physical rewards are shipped by the business to the address you provide. If a reward arrives damaged, is not as described, or does not arrive, raise the issue from your win and the business is responsible for resolving it; Zewards may step in to mediate.

Some tasks require you to submit proof (a screenshot, file or answer). Proofs may be checked automatically and, where needed, reviewed by the business or Zewards moderators. Submitting fake, edited or recycled proof is a violation of these terms and may result in your entry being rejected, your win being cancelled, or your account being suspended.

• •Creating multiple accounts or entering a giveaway more times than its rules allow.
• •Using bots, scripts, automation or paid engagement to complete tasks.
• •Uploading fake, stolen or edited proofs.
• •Reselling, sharing or misusing voucher or access codes.
• •Harassing businesses or other participants, or misusing the platform in any way.

Businesses must be legitimately operating in the UAE with valid licensing, provide truthful giveaway details, offer rewards exactly as described, supply working and unique voucher or digital codes where applicable, and respond to and fulfil claims in a reasonable time. Businesses are solely responsible for their giveaways, their rewards, and compliance with laws that apply to their promotions.

Businesses using Zewards additionally accept the Zewards Business Terms, which set out their responsibility as the business offering each giveaway, their licence and permit warranties, their indemnity, prize funding and fulfilment obligations, and subscription and billing terms.

You can report a giveaway, business or fulfilment problem from anywhere in the app. Zewards may investigate, suspend or remove giveaways and accounts that breach these terms or the law. Disputes about a reward should first be raised with the business through the app; Zewards may assist and, where necessary, take action against the business.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, attempt to manipulate giveaways, or put other users or the platform at risk. You may stop using Zewards and delete your account at any time.

The Zewards name, brand and platform are owned by Zewards Portal. You keep ownership of anything you upload, and you give us permission to show your proofs and answers to the relevant business and its reviewers for the purpose of verifying and fulfilling the giveaway.

Zewards is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. Participation does not guarantee winning. To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, the operating entity named above is not liable for: any prize, or its value, quality, safety, delivery or non-delivery; any act, omission, misrepresentation, fraud or unlicensed activity of a business; any loss arising from a giveaway run by a business; or any indirect or consequential loss. Because participation is free, our total liability to a participant for any claim connected to the platform is limited to AED 100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release Zewards, its operator, officers and employees from claims connected to a dispute between you and a business, including claims about a prize. Your remedy for such a dispute is against the business, and Zewards will cooperate with you and with the competent authorities by providing the business's registered details where lawfully requested.

Zewards cooperates with the Department of Economy and Tourism and other competent UAE authorities. We may share giveaway records, draw records, business details and relevant account information with them where required or reasonably requested, and may take down giveaways or suspend accounts on their instruction.

We may update these terms from time to time. The 'last updated' date at the top of this page shows the current version, and material changes will be announced in the app. Continuing to use Zewards after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the applicable local laws of the Emirate of Dubai.
