You cannot publish a giveaway until your business is verified. That restriction is the entire reason participants trust the platform.
How verification works
Verification is automated and runs against official company registries. Start it from your dashboard, follow the flow, and the check confirms:
- Your company exists in the registry and is currently active.
- Your legal name and registration number match the record.
- The person applying is authorised to act for the business.
Clear-cut cases come back in minutes. Anything inconclusive goes to the Zewards team, usually within one business day. You get an in-app notification and an email with the decision.
If something needs fixing
A rejection always comes with a plain-language note telling you exactly what to correct before resubmitting. The usual causes are a trading name that doesn't match the registry record, a licence that has expired or expires within 30 days, or a contact email with no link to the business.
Keep your licence expiry current in your profile — we warn you before it lapses, and giveaways can't be published on an expired licence.
